reporting & expectations

you report directly to lauryn chiu, head of brand – lauryn.chiu@clyrzones.com. weekly strategy syncs are held mondays at 10am pt / 1pm et.

general expectations

  • own the public narrative across all channels, with instagram as the primary storytelling engine
  • translate announcements and company news into instagram native formats: reels, carousels, stories
  • monitor and engage with the clyr community – comments, dms, and sentiment – as a core responsibility
  • lead the social media team and ensure consistent, lowercase clyr voice
  • serve as on camera representative for clyr; comfortable with instagram lives and interviews
  • collaborate with product and growth teams on campaign calendars

instagram first mandate

the grid is your press release. the comments section is your press conference. we prioritize:

  • carousels for educational deep dives and announcements
  • reels for culture, behind the scenes, and rapid response
  • story engagement (polls, q&a) for real time public feedback

you have full creative control over the instagram voice, but it must always feel human, never corporate.

  • no em dashes – use commas, colons, or periods
  • clyr is always lowercase – even at the start of a sentence
  • community management is public affairs – review comments and dms daily
  • crisis comms live on instagram first – address in stories before press releases
